RetroSpace: Een eigenzinnige FPS-horrorgame met indrukwekkende locaties
De funky FPS-horrorgame RetroSpace combineert de claustrofobische gangen van Dead Space met de retro-futuristische ontwerpen en meeslepende simulatie-elementen van BioShock en Prey. In een recent gedeelde clip op Twitter laat The Wild Gentlemen de speler zien die een enorme glazen koepel aan boord van een ruimtestation verkent. Een pad leidt rond de omtrek van de ruimte en een enorme standbeeld van een gevleugeld figuur domineert het midden van de ruimte. Het is grotendeels donker, maar een schijnwerper op het standbeeld en verschillende verlichte reclameborden doorbreken de duisternis.
Open spaces and claustrophobic horror
The developer assures fans that RetroSpace will offer not only many narrow, claustrophobic corridors but also large, open spaces to navigate. The presentation of the huge glass dome already gives us a glimpse of the impressive locations that await us. It immediately reminds us of the feeling of awe when entering more open spaces in games like Dead Space or BioShock.
Inspiration from classics and excitement for the game
The first impressions of RetroSpace have impressed us, especially the mix of funky space soundtrack, colorful humor, and frightening enemy models. The Wild Gentlemen cite classics like System Shock as a source of inspiration. The large and open design of the larger areas only increases our excitement for the game.
